Building: Statistical Office in Łódź, 29 Suwalska Street, 93-176 Łódź, Poland

The building has one main entrance located at 29 Suwalska Street. The building has nine storeys. The approach to the building is paved and includes lowered kerbs. Two designated parking spaces for persons with disabilities are available in front of the building. The main entrance is accessed via steps. A wheelchair ramp with handrails is located to the right of the steps. The automatic sliding entrance doors are marked with high-visibility safety strips. The reception desk is located to the left of the main entrance. An information board is situated directly opposite the reception desk. Ground-floor rooms are identified with high-contrast, large-print signs for people with visual impairments. A toilet partially adapted for persons with disabilities is available in the main lobby. The Customer Service Area is located on the ground floor, to the right of the main entrance. It is accessed through automatic sliding doors equipped with motion sensors. The Customer Service Area is equipped with: lowered countertops; an induction loop; a magnifying glass; a computer workstation with screen-reading software; a children's corner. An automated external defibrillator (AED) is available in the publicly accessible area of the building. The building has two passenger lifts; however, they are not suitable for wheelchair users. The entrance and internal circulation routes are wide and free of thresholds. Internal staircases are marked with high-contrast visual markings. There is no Braille signage within the building.

Building: Statistical Office in Łódź – Sieradz Branch, 3 Plac Wojewódzki, 98-200 Sieradz, Poland

The Sieradz Branch is located on the eighth floor of the Sieradz County Office building. The approach to the building is paved. Six designated parking spaces for persons with disabilities are available. The main entrance is accessed via steps. A wheelchair ramp is located to the right of the steps. The handrails are fitted with Braille markings. The reception desk is located to the left of the main entrance. An illuminated information board is situated directly opposite the entrance. The entrance steps have high-contrast visual markings. Tactile ground surface indicators are installed on the ground floor. Two accessible toilets are located on the ground floor directly opposite the main entrance. The toilets are equipped with Braille signs and emergency call systems. The entrance and internal circulation routes are wide and free of thresholds. Access to the eighth floor is provided by one of the building's three lifts, which is fully accessible to persons with disabilities. The Customer Service Area is equipped with an induction loop. Braille floor directories indicating the layout of the premises are installed next to the lifts on each floor.

Building: Statistical Office in Łódź – Piotrków Trybunalski Branch, 65 Wronia Street, 97-300 Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland

The building has one main entrance located at 65 Wronia Street. The approach to the building is paved. The branch occupies part of the first and second floors of the building. Two designated parking spaces for persons with disabilities are available in front of the building. The reception desk is located to the right of the main entrance. The building has two passenger lifts that can accommodate a wheelchair; however, they are not equipped with automatic sliding doors. On the first floor, within the public service area, there are three separate customer service offices: the Information Point, the Information Centre, and the REGON Service Point. During the Office's opening hours, the doors to the customer service area remain open. The customer service point is equipped with an induction loop. An accessible toilet is located on the ground floor in the main lobby, to the right of the entrance, behind the reception desk. The building does not provide Braille signage or high-contrast or large-print signage for people with visual impairments. The staircase leading from the ground floor to the first floor has high-contrast visual markings.

Building: Statistical Office in Łódź – Brzeziny Branch, 14 Sienkiewicza Street, 95-060 Brzeziny, Poland

The building has one main entrance located at 14 Sienkiewicza Street. The approach to the building is paved but includes a kerb, which may present a barrier for persons with specific accessibility needs. The building does not have a reception desk. Customer service is provided in the REGON Office located on the first floor, to the right of the staircase. The REGON Office is equipped with an induction loop. The branch building is not accessible to persons with mobility impairments due to stairs and the absence of a lift. It is also not fully accessible to blind and visually impaired persons, as there is no Braille signage, high-contrast signage, or large-print signage. There is no accessible toilet. There are no designated parking spaces for persons with disabilities.

Communication and Information Accessibility

During visits to the Statistical Office in Łódź and its branches, visitors may use the services of a Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpreter. Requests for the assistance of a sign language interpreter should be submitted at least 3 working days before the planned visit.
